Description
Aksel combines a round plate of natural travertine with a solid-wood cylinder spotlight, in light wood or walnut. A simple play of volumes and materials, 10 × 20 cm.
The spot can be aimed towards a reading chair, a picture or the bed, while the travertine disc is softly backlit with a warm halo. An E27 LED bulb is included.

Aksel is a wooden cylinder spot mounted on a round travertine plate. Travertine is a natural stone, so its pores, veining and tone vary slightly from one piece to the next. The wood adds warmth and a natural grain that pairs easily with linen, stone and plaster walls.

Switched on, Aksel gives a directional light with a halo on the stone. It suits bedrooms, living rooms and hallways. It measures 10 cm wide and 20 cm high. Choose from Walnut Wood and Light Wood.

At what height should I mount it?
Usual guidance, measured to the centre of the fixture: about 150–165 cm from the floor in living rooms and hallways, and around 75–90 cm above the mattress next to a bed. Outdoors, mount it at about 165–180 cm beside a door.
What bulb does it use?
It has an E27 LED bulb socket and the bulb is included. Light color: Warm white, 3000 K.
How is it installed?
It's hard-wired to a ceiling or wall junction box. For safety and local code, have it installed by a licensed electrician.
